Clear results. Useful equipment records.
Receive a report and asset register that help you understand what was completed and what needs follow-up.
Your report
The PDF summary records the site, visit date, agreed scope and result totals. It identifies failed items and exceptions, including equipment that was inaccessible, deferred or excluded. Where relevant, infrastructure work also references the agreed change and its limitations.
Your asset register
A spreadsheet-friendly CSV can include asset ID, description, location, inspection/test date, result, method or test record reference, relevant readings, tester identifier, proposed next-test date and notes. The exact fields depend on the agreed scope and reporting system.

Result statuses
Statuses are explicit and never collapse into "pass". Deferred, inaccessible and excluded items are listed so you can plan follow-up.
- Completed/pass
- Inspected and tested under the agreed method; no fault found at the time.
- Completed/fail
- Inspected and/or tested and found faulty. Contact notified to remove the item from use.
- Visual inspection only
- Inspected visually only. Not presented as a completed electrical test.
- Deferred
- Not tested in this visit, for example awaiting an approved change window.
- Inaccessible
- Could not be reached safely or without disturbing locked areas.
- Excluded
- Outside the agreed scope, for example fixed wiring or hard-wired appliances.

Keep records useful over time
Consistent asset IDs make repeat visits easier to compare. If your organisation already has an asset register, tell us before the visit so we can agree a mapping approach. Duplicate IDs and replaced equipment need explicit handling. Optional reminders are offered only if you ask for them.
Reports may reveal asset IDs and locations, so we confirm the recipient and deliver them through an agreed secure channel, not a public link. The delivery date is agreed in your quote.
What the records do not claim
A test record reflects equipment at the time of inspection and testing. It is not a guarantee of future safety, an electrical installation certificate or a full inventory of your IT environment. Untested assets are not given a pass result. Retest dates do not replace ongoing checks for damage or changes in use.
