After-hours testing

Testing appointments outside your office hours.

Evening and weekend visits may help reduce staff disruption. Availability is by arrangement, with scope and any required shutdowns agreed before the appointment.

For routine office work

Arrange site access, an on-site contact and permission to disconnect eligible equipment. Staff should save work before leaving. Confirm alarm arrangements, parking and any areas that will be locked. We will tell you which equipment needs separate assessment.

Included

  • Weekday evening appointments, 6-10 pm, by arrangement
  • Weekend appointments, 8 am-6 pm, by arrangement
  • The same scope, labels and records as daytime visits

Not included

  • Emergency callouts or immediate response
  • Public holidays, except by individual quote
  • Changes to business-critical systems without an approved change window

For business-critical systems

An after-hours appointment is not, by itself, an approved change window. Your IT lead must agree the work, shutdown plan and restoration checks. We allow for the approved scope and stop if conditions differ from the plan.

Plan infrastructure testing

Before the appointment

Confirm who will meet us, who can approve changes and who will check equipment or services after reconnection. Tell us about access deadlines and any restrictions on the work. We can then give you a realistic appointment proposal.

How it works

  1. Tell us the window

Include your suburb, equipment type, approximate count and preferred evening or weekend.

  2. Confirm access and approvals

Agree who meets us, alarm and parking arrangements, and who approves disconnections.

  3. Appointment confirmed in writing

A request does not reserve an appointment; we confirm availability with your quote.

What you receive

The same records as a daytime visit: labels for completed items as appropriate, a PDF summary and an asset register with exceptions listed.

View an example report

Records include

  • PDF summary with scope, visit date and result totals
  • CSV asset register you can open in a spreadsheet
  • Failed, deferred, inaccessible and excluded items listed clearly
  • Follow-up actions for exceptions

Costs are confirmed upfront

Proposed premiums apply to the relevant testing or attendance component: weekday evenings +25%, weekends +50%. Premiums do not stack.

Planning time, travel and out-of-scope work are quoted separately. Public holidays are individually quoted and depend on availability.

NZD, excluding GST; GST-inclusive quote supplied. Proposed launch prices; a written quote confirms scope, travel, timing and the final total.

Common questions

Will equipment need to be turned off?

Some inspection and testing requires disconnection. We agree access and interruptions before the visit. Live servers and UPS systems may need a maintenance window or be deferred.

Is an after-hours appointment the same as a change window?

No. An after-hours appointment is not, by itself, an approved change window. Your IT lead must agree the work, shutdown plan and restoration checks for business-critical systems.

Can I book instantly?

No. We first confirm scope, availability and a written quote. Request a quote.
