What we collect

When you request a quote we collect the details you submit: your name, business name, email address, optional phone number, location, and answers about your equipment, access and preferred timing. Required fields help us contact you and understand your request.

Please do not submit passwords, network diagrams or confidential rack details through the website. We arrange secure transfer of any detailed information after we have agreed the scope.

If you tick the optional reminders box, we record that choice, the time and the version of this notice. Reminders are kept separate from quote administration and you can withdraw at any time.

How we use it

We use enquiry details to respond to you, assess the work, prepare a quote and administer agreed work. We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers needed for those activities or as otherwise required or permitted by law. These currently include:

• our website server, where quote requests are stored;
• Cloudflare, which delivers and protects this website and processes technical connection data such as IP addresses, including outside New Zealand;
• our email provider, which carries quote notifications and acknowledgements;
• Google, which provides website analytics.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this website, such as which pages are viewed and how people arrive here. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects technical information such as your browser, device, approximate location and pages visited. This information is processed by Google, including outside New Zealand. We do not use it to identify you or for advertising.

You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Our content delivery provider may also set strictly necessary security cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries that do not proceed for a limited period and then delete them. Records of accepted work and financial records are kept for longer where needed for the service and to meet legal obligations. We will publish specific retention periods here before launch.

Security

Quote requests are stored outside the public part of our website and protected by access controls. Reports are delivered through an agreed secure channel, not public links.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you may ask for access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you. Contact us at [email protected]. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
